1. Acceptance of Terms

PremodernHQ is an independent, fan-run project. It is not produced, sponsored, approved, or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or by any tournament organizer, data provider, or vendor referenced on the site. By using the site you confirm that you understand its unofficial nature and that you accept these Terms in full. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2.No Warranty & Accuracy Disclaimer

The content on PremodernHQ, including tournament results, deck lists, metagame statistics, card data, and pricing, is scraped and aggregated from public sources on a best-effort basis. It may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or wrong.

• The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We are not an official authority on Premodern rules, the banned/restricted list, or card legality. For authoritative format information, please refer to premodernmagic.com.
• You use the site and rely on its content at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

3. Acceptable Use

PremodernHQ is intended for personal and community use by Magic: The Gathering players and enthusiasts. When using the site, you agree that you will not:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or otherwise extract data from the site in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or disrupts service for others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or any connected systems, or interfere with the site's normal operation.
• Misuse any submitted-content or contribution features, including by submitting unlawful, infringing, abusive, or deliberately false material.
• Use the site or its content in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

4. Affiliate Relationship Disclosure

PremodernHQ links out to third-party card retailers so you can buy cards you see on the site. To help cover running costs, we may participate in retailer affiliate programs. We do not currently have an affiliate agreement with any specific retailer; if and when that changes, some outbound links will become affiliate links.

• Where a link is an affiliate link, making a qualifying purchase through it may earn us a commission at no additional cost to you.
• Affiliate relationships, present or future, do not influence the data, rankings, or editorial content presented on the site.
• Consistent with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance, we disclose any such relationships here and in our Privacy Policy, which describes any affiliate tracking cookies involved.

5.Intellectual Property & Trademarks

Magic: The Gathering, all card names, card images, mana symbols, set symbols, and related properties are trademarks and copyrights of Wizards of the Coast LLC. PremodernHQ is unofficial Fan Content permitted under Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy, and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

• Tournament results, deck lists, and metagame data are aggregated from publicly-available third-party sources and attributed to those original sources where applicable. The respective owners retain all rights in their content.
• Card images and Oracle text are the property of Wizards of the Coast and, where applicable, are served via third-party data providers under their respective terms.
• Original commentary, layout, and code created for PremodernHQ remain the property of the project, except where third-party rights apply.

6. User Contributions

The site offers a way to contribute data and content. If you submit content, you grant PremodernHQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content on the site for the purpose of operating and promoting the project.

• You affirm that you have the right to submit the content you provide and that doing so does not infringe the rights of any third party.
• You are responsible for the content you submit. We may edit, remove, or decline to publish any contribution at our discretion.

7.Third-Party Links & Services

The site contains links to external websites and services, including data sources, affiliate vendors, and community resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party sites. Accessing them is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and privacy policies.

8.DMCA & Contact

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you are a rights holder and believe that content on PremodernHQ infringes your copyright or other rights, you may request a takedown by providing: (1) identification of the work claimed to be infringed; (2) the location (URL) of the material on the site; (3) your contact information; and (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.

• Submit takedown requests and any other formal or legal notices by email at sv_gravity_400@proton.me, or use our contribute page. Discord (externality_0502) is for unofficial or casual questions only — please do not send takedown, privacy, or legal notices there.
• We will review valid requests and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.

9.Analytics & Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and standard server logs to operate the site, and we plan to use privacy-respecting analytics (a Plausible/Umami-style approach that does not set cross-site advertising cookies or track you across other websites). Affiliate links may set third-party tracking cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not run a third-party advertising network and we do not offer user accounts at this time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be subject to the courts located in the United States.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are intended to be read together.
