- • Tolarian Academy plus multiple artifacts for large blue mana
- • Mind Over Matter on the battlefield
- • A way to refill your hand to keep discarding (e.g. Windfall / Time Spiral)
Requirements

The Combo: Storyboard
Step 1
Build a board of artifacts so Tolarian Academy taps for a large amount of {U}.
Step 2
Resolve Mind Over Matter and have Stroke of Genius in hand.
Step 3
Tap Tolarian Academy for mana, then discard a card to Mind Over Matter to untap it and tap again, netting mana each cycle while cards remain to pitch.
Step 4
Refill your hand with a wheel (e.g. Windfall / Time Spiral) to keep feeding Mind Over Matter and grow the mana pool.
Step 5
Cast Stroke of Genius for X at the opponent, forcing them to draw their entire library and lose on their next draw.
⚠ Rules Note
The loop is bounded by cards available to discard to Mind Over Matter, so it pairs with a draw-seven refill to approach arbitrarily large mana rather than a true unbounded loop. Each Academy untap only nets mana when the Academy taps for more than the one card discarded is worth, i.e. when you control multiple artifacts. Tolarian Academy is banned in Premodern; Mind Over Matter and Stroke of Genius are legal.
