Artifact removal on Fire Diamond, Thran Dynamo, and Mind Stone cripples its ramp and Covetous Dragon.
Wildfire damages your own creatures too, so a poorly timed cast can whiff.
It can stumble if it draws threats without enough mana rocks to enable the Wildfire plan.
Fast aggro or combo can win before the slow ramp — and-sweep sequence comes online.

How to win with it

Mulligan aggressively for an artifact-mana opener: a keepable hand needs at least two of Fire Diamond, Mind Stone, Thran Dynamo, or Worn Powerstone, because without them you cannot cast Wildfire ahead of curve and the deck's plan collapses. A hand with one mana rock and a Wildfire is a borderline keep only on the draw; a hand with zero rocks is a snap ship-back regardless of other quality.
The dream line is artifact mana on turn one, more artifact mana on turn two, and Wildfire on turn three, leaving you with four or more mana sources while the opponent loses four lands and every creature to it. Sequence your rocks so you untap with the six mana Wildfire needs, leaning on Thran Dynamo's three mana and Worn Powerstone's two over Fire Diamond and Mind Stone when you have a choice, and remember Worn Powerstone enters tapped so it must be deployed a turn early.
Do not jam Covetous Dragon or Masticore before Wildfire unless you can follow with Wildfire next turn or you are under no pressure; a premature fatty telegraphs your plan and baits removal. Hold the threat, fire Wildfire into their board first, then resolve Covetous Dragon; you only need to control one artifact at the instant it enters to keep it, and any surviving rock satisfies that.
Tangle Wire and Winter Orb are the grind tools that buy turns when the fast Wildfire draw is missing: land Tangle Wire first to lock the opponent's untaps while your already-deployed rocks keep producing, then layer Winter Orb once their lands are taxed. Sphere of Resistance compounds the lock by taxing every spell they try to cast through it, and Mishra's Helix lets your excess mana keep their lands tapped down before you ever resolve Wildfire.
After Wildfire resolves, count your surviving artifacts before acting, because Karn, Silver Golem can animate one into an attacker whose power and toughness each equal its mana cost (Thran Dynamo becomes a 4/4, Worn Powerstone a 3/3) and it reverts to a mana source at end of turn, so you close games without giving up ramp. This makes Karn, Silver Golem a flexible finisher once the opponent can no longer rebuild removal.
Cursed Scroll is your anti-flood valve and grind finisher: with one card or an empty hand its damage is guaranteed, so empty your grip and tick the opponent down once your artifacts outnumber their post-Wildfire lands. Fire Temporal Aperture only after Wildfire has cleared their interaction, since hitting a free Covetous Dragon or Masticore off the top into an open board is far more punishing than casting it the hard way.

How to beat it

Destroy its mana rocks like Thran Dynamo to deny the ramp and keep Covetous Dragon offline.
Pressure its life total so it must cast Wildfire defensively before it has follow-up threats.
Keep your own board light enough that Wildfire is a poor trade for them.
Hold removal for Masticore and Covetous Dragon, the threats that survive the sweep.
Race it with a fast clock, since its early turns are spent on non-interactive ramp.
