Deck Weaknesses

Single kill condition — Brain Freeze is the only way the deck wins, so countermagic held for it or discard that strips it after a long combo turn leaves the pilot with no backup plan and the whole resource investment wasted.
Artifact dependency — Sapphire Medallion and Helm of Awakening are the only cost reducers and have no redundancy; remove one with artifact removal before or during the combo turn and spells revert to full price, so the chain cannot sustain itself.
No interaction and no clock — the deck runs no removal and only Cloud of Faeries as a creature, so it cannot answer early threats and must combo off before dying, leaving it structurally cold to aggression that presents multiple must-answer permanents.
Graveyard reliance — Accumulated Knowledge counts copies already in graveyards to draw deep, so graveyard disruption applied before or during the combo turn caps that draw and starves the deck of the cards it needs to count up to a lethal storm.

How to win with it

Mulligan any hand without a cost-reducer (Helm of Awakening or Sapphire Medallion) backed by at least two cantrips or draw spells; a hand of only lands and Brain Freeze is a snap mulligan because you cannot build storm count without the engine online to chain spells for free.
The dream is a turn-three kill: lead Lotus Petal or an Island into Helm of Awakening or Sapphire Medallion on turns one or two, then on the kill turn run Frantic Search (which untaps three lands and pays for itself under a reducer) and Meditate to dig, looping Cloud of Faeries and Snap to keep untapping lands while each spell ticks the storm count, and finish with Brain Freeze for enough mill copies to deck the opponent.
Treat Cloud of Faeries and Snap as untap engines, not just cantrips: Snap can bounce your own Cloud of Faeries to re-use its enters-the-battlefield untap of two lands, and both untap lands as part of their effect, so cast them mid-chain to refund the mana for the next draw spell and keep the storm count climbing without tapping out.
Hold Merchant Scroll until you can win that same turn; fetching Brain Freeze early only telegraphs the kill, while fetching Cunning Wish at instant speed mid-chain pulls another draw spell or a second Brain Freeze from outside the game to push a stalled storm count over the top.
Meditate is your grind-mode refuel, but it skips your entire next turn, so cast it early only when your hand is otherwise dead and you can afford to pass a turn; the four fresh cards usually restore enough cost-reducer and cantrip density to assemble the kill a turn or two later.
When the storm count is high but you are out of gas, chain Accumulated Knowledge and Words of Wisdom back-to-back to draw several cards at near-zero cost under a Helm of Awakening or Sapphire Medallion, then count your remaining spells and confirm Brain Freeze reaches a lethal mill before committing your mana to the winning turn.

How to beat it

The deck has exactly one kill card in Brain Freeze, and it only ends the game after a long storm turn has already been built. Hold permission specifically for Brain Freeze rather than trading it early, or strip it with discard, and the entire turn's investment collapses with nothing to show for it.
Sapphire Medallion and Helm of Awakening are the cost-reduction engines that let the deck chain spells fast enough to reach a lethal storm count. Cheap artifact removal landing on either piece before the kill turn forces a full rebuild and buys you several turns.
The mana to chain spells comes from Cloud of Faeries and Snap untapping lands to refund what those spells cost. Present a fast enough clock that the pilot must answer your board or combo early, and that defensive spending breaks the untap-and-replay sequencing before the storm count gets lethal.
Accumulated Knowledge scales with how many copies already sit in graveyards, so graveyard hate caps its draw and chokes the card-advantage engine the deck leans on to dig toward Brain Freeze. Stripping the graveyard mid-turn collapses the count it needs.
A fast clock forces the combo a full turn before it is ready, while Meditate and Merchant Scroll have not yet assembled critical mass. Race hard enough that a speculative Brain Freeze at storm five or six falls short of lethal and the game ends before the deck reaches its natural power level.
