"Greater Good is a WBG combo deck that uses Academy Rector as a tutor engine to fetch and deploy game-winning enchantments. Enchantment removal like Seal of Cleansing or Disenchant breaks the Greater Good and Pandemonium engine.
Graveyard hate such as Tormod's Crypt undercuts the Reanimate plan.
It is a fragile, low — land combo deck that can stumble on mana or be disrupted by a single well-timed answer.
Fast aggro can pressure its low life total, especially after Dark Ritual and Infernal Contract self — damage.

How to win with it

Keep any opening hand with Academy Rector plus at least one sacrifice outlet (Cabal Therapy is ideal) and two or more mana sources, counting Lotus Petal and Elvish Spirit Guide as full sources. Because Enlightened Tutor finds only Greater Good or Pandemonium and never the Rector itself, hands without an Academy Rector in hand are almost always mulligans. You need the engine, not just the payoff.
The dream line: lead with Lotus Petal and Dark Ritual into Academy Rector, then cast Cabal Therapy naming a disruptive card, which sacrifices the Rector and fetches Greater Good directly into play. From there, put Phyrexian Dreadnought onto the battlefield and sacrifice it to Greater Good for twelve cards, discard three, and convert the refill into Nostalgic Dreams value or a follow-up Replenish to rebuild the board.
With Pandemonium instead of Greater Good, fetch Pandemonium off the sacrificed Academy Rector first, then play Phyrexian Dreadnought: the Dreadnought entering triggers both Pandemonium and its own sacrifice clause, and you let Pandemonium's twelve damage resolve before resolving the sacrifice. Always have Pandemonium on the battlefield before the Dreadnought lands: a second Phyrexian Dreadnought adds another twelve, and each 1/1 token from Saproling Burst adds one as it enters.
Hold Duress and Cabal Therapy to clear the path rather than to bank cards: lead Duress on turn one to strip interaction, then sacrifice Academy Rector with Cabal Therapy once the coast is clear. Jamming the Rector into open disruption loses the game, so spend a discard spell first so the fetched enchantment actually sticks.
The grind plan activates when the fast kill is answered: Nostalgic Dreams buys back key pieces like Greater Good, Academy Rector, or Lotus Petal from the graveyard by discarding surplus land or redundant copies, returning itself to hand for a second pull. Replenish is the other recovery axis. If Greater Good or Pandemonium fell to the graveyard alongside Saproling Burst, one Replenish restores the whole enchantment package at once and can threaten lethal the same turn.
The key decision is whether to lean on the Rector or commit Enlightened Tutor early. Academy Rector's death already drops Greater Good or Pandemonium straight into play, so save Enlightened Tutor for spots where you lack a Rector and can afford to set the enchantment on top of your library a turn ahead, drawing it before you go off.

How to beat it

Hold instant-speed enchantment removal for Greater Good or Pandemonium when it tries to combo off.
Bring in graveyard hate like Tormod's Crypt to neutralize Reanimate and Academy Rector recursion.
Apply early pressure to exploit its self-inflicted life loss from rituals and card draw.
Use your own discard or counters to strip Academy Rector or its tutors before it sets up.
Kill or exile Phyrexian Dreadnought in response to its sacrifice to deny the burst kill.
